Newlyn Antiques and Cottage Garden Nursery has been an integral part of the Daylesford community for over 23 years, attracting visitors from all over Victoria.
John and Faye Hungerford established the store in one of the village’s historical buildings in 1996, and have since enjoyed indulging their passion; sourcing and selling pieces to both the local community and state and interstate visitors.
Having recently decided to retire, the Hungerford’s are offering the remaining stock from their beautiful store in a country style auction in Newlyn on Sunday 14 April.
The auction features over 750 Lots of antique furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass, porcelain and decorative arts. All Lots will be offered without reserve.
This is a quaint and old-fashioned, country style auction (there’s no online catalogue and no online or telephone bidding; all the action will take place on the day!). So, why not head to the country for the day or for the weekend and soak up the atmosphere of this historic town and its much-loved antique store.
