Chiara Curcio

After joining Leonard Joel as valuer in 2011, Chiara took on the management of the Objects and Antiquarian Books auction in 2013 and has been responsible for developing specialist and thematic auctions within the company. Most notably the highly successful auction of the Estate of Laszlo Erdos in April 2014, which achieved an extraordinary 150% sale rate by value.

In 2015, Chiara extended her thematic auction expertise with the management of the largest tribal art & artefacts auction in Australian history; The Mark Lissauer Collection of almost 1000 objects. Recently in 2016, Chiara extended her portfolio by managing the Graham Geddes collection in Armadale.

Chiara’s passion for interior decoration & quality products has helped her develop the single owner department with a focus on luxury contents auctions, she has recently managed the Contents of a Malvern residence and The Contents of an International Luxury apartment.

Chiara brings a broad knowledge of the decorative arts, fine furniture, Asian arts, antiquarian books and associated disciplines, and an affinity with vintage fashion and collectables.

Robert Williams

Robert’s love of Objet D’Art began whilst working for Kenneth Harvey Antiques and Rosebery’s Fine Art in London. During this time Robert has forged many contacts globally. In Australia, Robert’s vast auction experience has seen him consult for a few local auction houses then full time at Bonhams & Goodman and most recently Theodore Bruce, where he was senior valuer. With over 15 years combined auction and antique industry experience Roberts knowledge covers a broad and wide range of subjects, affording him the ability to look at single owner estates in their entirety.

Robert prides himself on nurturing real relationships with his clients and his belief that the client must be included throughout the auction process.
