Founded by the late Leonard Joel in 1919 the business is now operated by John Albrecht, a former director of Kozminsky, Melbourne. Our  salerooms are located in the impressive heritage listed former Hawksburn Primary School in the heart of South Yarra, close to the golden mile of antique and art establishments in High Street..

 

With over 90 years of auction expertise, Leonard Joel has proudly maintained its status as an agent for vendor which simply means that as an auction house we do not enjoy an ownership stake in any item we offer for sale.
